I’ve said this to my friend once, they SHOULD make a movie from Summer’s perspective. It’s cool to see a movie from the perspective of a guy who falls in love with a girl, gets heartbroken, feels devastated, eventually bounces back on Life. But it would even be more interesting to see it from a perspective of a girl who wasn’t as sure with their ‘romance’ as the guy. Tom had unrealistic expectation on his ‘romance’ but Summer had not much expectation and just went with the flow. From Tom’s POV, her carefree and independent personality was part of her appeal but it’s  also her flaw because it showed that she’s indecisive as well (which combined with a hopeless romantic Tom creates a recipe for disaster). So I would want to see a story about a girl who takes a chance with a guy who likes her, slowly feels ‘out of touch’ with the ‘relationship’ that she half blindly leaped into to begin with (exacerbated by Tom’s expectations), calls for a breakup and lose a sense of direction in life, finds a new job and matures, finds a guy and have a healthy mature relationship, gets engaged.

Looper

In the future, time travel has been invented but it’s illegal. The future mobs would use time travel to send their targets to the past where they will be killed by a group of hired hitmen called ‘Loopers’ - who are living very privileged lives. One of the loopers, JOE (JGL) has been assigned to kill a surprise target - his older self (played by Bruce Willis). Old Joe escapes while Young Joe is hunted by his boss and  other loopers for failing his mission. Young Joe needs to kill his older self in order to get his current privileged life back (!) but things doesn’t seem to be simple because  Old Joe has his own personal mission - he intends to eliminate a ruthless man from his time by killing the younger version of the ruthless man!

Expect more twist to the story though.

It looks like Terminator meets Twelve Monkeys.
