PHASE II
Iron Man 3 - Will be loosely based on the Extremis storyline. Now that we moved on from the Avengers, the movie promises to be ‘more Tony Stark, less SHIELD.’ And BEN KINGSLEY IS MANDARIN!! Finally, the Iron Man villain we all waited for!
THOR: The Dark World - Hmmmm…darker story?? Expect Thor to travel to the other nine realms and more Asgard please
Captain America: The Winter Soldier - WOAH! Spoiler alert! The Winter Soldier is Cap’s friend Bucky who turned out to be alive and changed into a badass Soviet soldier.
Guardians of the Galaxy - I don’t know anything about this (other than on Wikipedia) but this is the one I’m most excited about. Potentially be an epic space opera adventure film! And rumour has it that Thanos will be the villain which makes sense because after his cameo appearance at the end credit of the Avengers, I think he needs to be properly introduced in one more movie before his inevitable clash with the Avengers.
Plus, there is a badass Raccoon in this movie!
Ant Man - FINALLY! Edgar Wright (Hot Fuzz, Scott Pilgrim vs the World) have been talking about this for years! A test footage was shown on Comic Con recently and it seems like he succeeded in making the concept cool based on what I’ve read. Ant Man was part of the original founders of the Avengers in the comics so he deserve a spot in the next one (Just like Aquaman in the Justice League).
No Hulk movie?! Oh well….but I’m still betting for a Mark Ruffalo cameo in Iron Man 3!
